Marcel Speet Studio

Marcel Speet (Netherlands, 1951) makes paintings and works on paper. His work explores the tension between organic and artificial forms. Each work develops as a coherent configuration whose internal relationships continue to unfold in observation. He uses colour, form and structure through layering, friction and transformation.

Marcel Speet lives and works in France, near Bordeaux.

Elk werk ontwikkelt zich tot een samenhangende configuratie waarvan de interne relaties zich tijdens het kijken blijven ontvouwen. Hij gebruikt kleur, vorm en structuur via gelaagdheid, frictie en transformatie.
